I guess if you are small stacked you are almost pot commited when you hit the ace and c bet the ace vs 3 aces. Ive had AK 5 times today and lost 2 times, the win percentage is higher than the losing percentage however I lost to AA and JJ with it And the pots I won were small compared to the pots I lost. There are just so many ways to lose more money with AK than you win with it. Raise AK miss flop, c bet they raise fold lose Raise AK see flop hit A or K bet they call, bet turn they raise. Raise AK see flop hit A or K bet they foldĢ.
Seriously, you arent thinking right, AK wins alot, but when it loses it loses more than it wins.ġ. If you are losing with AK over any sample either: So if I'm losing with AA over a sample of 9k hands, does AA suck?ĪA has an expected win of x bb/hand, AK has an expected win of y bb/100 which is quite a bit lower than AA.
